ABOUT
At Freedom Mitigation, we believe restoration is about more than repairing property. It's about helping people recover from unexpected events and restoring peace of mind when it matters most.
We sincerely thank our clients, team members, industry partners, suppliers, and supporters for placing their trust in us. Every project is an opportunity to make a difference, and we are honored to serve homeowners and businesses throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.
Our Story, Mission, and Core Values
Our Vision is to be a premium experience restoration company in Minnesota.
Promise: Fair, honest, and efficient mitigation.
Mitigating losses with health and safety at the forefront; accompanied by masterful craftsmanship, and minimal disruption.
Lucas Mark was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He started his career at Dunwoody College of Technology, studying construction supervision, before spending over 20 years in residential construction working as a union carpenter and later as a project manager. That hands-on experience is why homeowners trust Lucas when disaster strikes. W
ater, fire, and mold damage disrupt more than a house — they disrupt a family’s sense of security. Lucas built Freedom Mitigation on skilled craftsmanship and honest communication, so customers always know what’s happening in their own home.
Freedom Mitigation is a family business. Lucas runs it alongside his wife, Shannon, a fellow Minnesota native whose support and involvement have helped drive the company’s success. Together, they’re focused on one thing: helping their neighbors safely recover and feel swiftly home again.
